As well as the Parkhurst Fields Community Room, the Housing Waverley Development Team has identified another site in Churt that has potential for re-development and the provision of more affordable houses: 1-4 Crossway Close, including the land to the front and to the back.

 

The site will involve demolition of existing homes and although the residents of 1-4 Crossways Close will have to be decanted for the duration of the construction process they will have a right to come back to a newly built house or flat on the site if they wish to. Officers from the Housing Development Team have already met the tenants and explained their options to them.
